I love reading. I’ve always loved reading and I was really lucky growing up that my dad had a rather large collection of books for the time and he instilled his passion for science fiction in me. These days I try to alternate between science fiction / fantasy novels and personal development / leadership books which for me is a great way to both relax, unwind and still work on yourself at the same time.

Yuval Noah Harari - Homo-Deus, A brief history of tomorrowA recommendation from my dad. Enough to get this book on my list. Get it from Amazon: Kindle Paperback |

Stephen Segaller - Nerds 2.0.1 A Brief History of the InternetThe oldest book on my list all the way from 1999, recently recommended by a colleague at work. I was only a kid when the internet happened and the internet bubble burst so I didn’t understand at that time what had happened. Should be a really fun read looking back at those times, knowing what we know today. Get it from Amazon: Kindle |

Brad Smith - Tools and WeaponsI’ll admit, this book caught my attention because of its author - Bras Smith, president at Microsoft. As a huge Microsoft fan, having built my career on their products and tools, I am really interested to get a glimpse into Brad’s thoughts and ideas about the future of society and how technology might shape that. |

David Mitchell - Cloud AtlasAnother book of Bill Gates’s summer list, I’m hoping this will hit the spot in my science fiction novel category. Get it from Amazon: Kindle Paperback |
